Hello, Friends!
I'm Hannah (Joelle) Peterson, Previously known as Hannah Meals! A Photographer of all sorts, avid sports fan, movie quote junkie, and food lover. I was born in the land I'll always love and hold most dear, Pennsylvania, but most of my life I've lived in "The Good Life," Nebraska.
I've been married to my high school sweetheart for over two years now, and I couldn't have asked for a more kind and encouraging man to spend my life with. While I spend my days editing photos, my husband serves our community as a Police Officer for the Lincoln Police Department. I am SO proud to be his wife.
My love for photography began as a young girl watching my Aunt Judi with a camera around her neck all through our family vacations. At the age of 12, my grandparents gave me my first point and shoot camera. It was love at first shutter! I've been snapping pictures ever since. When I was 17, I had the amazing opportunity to photograph my very first solo wedding. (Woo, I was nervous!) Since then I have also gone on to photograph couples, families, seniors, and wee babes! I've been able to shadow and second shoot for some amazing photographers and it all has taught me so much! I'm incredibly excited to have this chance to pursue my dream! With each year, I look back and see how much I've grown, and I can't help but be exceedingly grateful for each and every opportunity that has come my way.
I love to meet new people and capture special moments. It is such a joy to hear each client's story and make memories together! I would feel so blessed and grateful to be welcomed into your life and have a chance to service your photography needs!

I BELIEVE
I believe Netflix is the best form of procrastination. I believe in Penn State everything. I believe in UNC hoops. I believe Michael Jordan is the GOAT. I believe that one day soon the Eagles will win the Superbowl. (<-WOW, FRIENDS! THIS HAPPENED!!!) I believe cheese makes everything taste better. I believe that if you love a pitbull, it will love you back unconditionally. I believe in fries before guys. I believe laughter is the best way to get a six pack. I believe love is an action, therefore love is a choice. I believe family is the greatest treasure in this world. I believe fruit should always be covered in chocolate. I believe in Panera's chicken ceasar salad.... alright, and their chocolate croissants. I believe children have the best sense of humor. I believe Pennsylvania is the most beautiful place on this earth (but recently I visited Ireland and now my heart is torn!). I believe there will be absolutely no spiders in heaven. I believe Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. I believe an evening should not go by without eating a bowl of ice cream. I believe in glazed doughnuts over a fire. I believe pizza should never be eaten in the morning. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in movie quotes. I believe in a little coffee with my cream and sugar. I believe in singing your heart out and using your fist for a microphone. I believe you can never have too many pairs of shoes. I believe in traveling to new places as often as you can. I believe Scooters coffee is better than Starbucks coffee. I believe in Hallmark movies. I believe every weekend is Harry Potter weekend. I believe that I was made for the beach.
Most importantly, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior!
